Dr. Craig Primack, OMA Vice President, Featured in Advances in Therapy

Craig Primack, MD, FACP, FAAP, FOMA, who is the vice president of the Obesity Medicine Association and a clinical obesity specialist in Scottsdale, Ariz., contributed to the latest installment in a patient and physician perspective series in the medical journal, Advances in Therapy. In the article, both Dr. Primack and his patient, Elizabeth Swanson, discuss their experiences throughout Ms. Swanson’s lifestyle modification program for obesity treatment.

Dr. Primack provides his perspective on behavior modification, insulin resistance, and finding a lifestyle program that was appropriate for his patient’s metabolism.
