Dr. Ferguson has personal/family experience lifelong as well as professional experience since 2006. The management of obesity includes nutrition, exercise, behavioral, medical, medication, and surgery. Her work in the VA’s MOVE program allowed her to practice all of these aspects and more.
Since retirement she is pursuing interests in innovative health, potentially addictive foods, and binge eating disorder. In past she has participated as speaker for the American Cancer Society and Tobacco Free programs. During Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State University she spent a fellowship year in staff development (teaching).
Her favorite venue is leading small interactive groups of 15-20 persons.
