Sara Karjoo, MD

Dr. Sara Karjoo is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and an Associate Professor at Florida State University School of Medicine, and University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Karjoo is a graduate of Upstate Medical University at Syracuse NY. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and later her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is currently board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Karjoo has done several talks, podcasts, webinars, and publications on the topic of Obesity, Nutrition, & Pediatric and Adult MASLD secondary to obesity. Her goals are to educate and raise awareness regarding the issues surrounding obesity and children.
