He has served the society on numerous committees and leadership positions. He has helped over 80 clinicians get started in obesity medicine and presented at over 20 obesity conferences.
Awarded obesity medicine Doctor of Year in 2007, he was recognized as a Master Fellow of OMA in 2013.
