Dr. Abby Bleistein is the founder and director of Healthful Life MD where she currently practices Obesity Medicine in Golden, Colorado. Healthful Life MD is a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary medical weight loss practice that helps people with sustainable life-style change.
Dr. Bleistein is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She completed her BA in Neurobiology at the University of California, Berkeley, and received her MD from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She did her combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
In 2016, Dr. Bleistein was recognized by the Obesity Medicine Association as Candidate of the Year. She has served on the Pediatric Committee and the Advocacy Committee of the Obesity Medicine Association.
