*OMA does not accept CE credit for multiple versions of the exact same content delivered in different formats. If you have completed a live/virtual course and recordings of the same course, only one set of credits will count toward the 60 CE credit requirement.

**2021-2023 Applicants Only: The live credit requirement will be waived for this certificate; applicants applying and meeting all eligibility requirements before 12/31/2023 may complete all 60 required CE credits online.

Membership in the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) is not required but is strongly encouraged. Membership allows NPs and PAs to stay up to date on new and emerging treatments. It also offers a community to NPs and PAs to network, connect, and collaborate with other NPs and PAs who share an interest in obesity medicine.

After Earning the Certificate

Approved candidates will receive a printed certificate to display in their office. The certificate recognizes the obesity-focused education obtained by NPs and PAs practicing obesity medicine.

Candidates will not be awarded a designation/credential for completing the certificate, but approved candidates may say that they have earned a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine.
