The Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) is excited to partner with the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) to include OMA members in a new obesity medicine healthcare provider database! This database will provide patients, referring providers, and the general public with a free online resource for locating a healthcare provider to treat obesity. In addition to the clinician directory OMA currently offers, this database is an excellent opportunity for you to heighten your exposure to patients with obesity and the general public.
As a member of OMA, you will be automatically included in the new healthcare provider database unless you opt out. Inclusion in the database is a great benefit of membership and a huge driver of traffic to your practice! The new database will have more robust functionality and searchability. It will also allow you to list multiple addresses if your practice has more than one location. The database will be search engine optimized and marketed to OAC’s 59,000 members, 65,000-70,000 monthly website visitors, and the general public.
OMA is committed to keeping your personal information private; only publicly available information will be displayed: your name, credentials, gender, practice/hospital/company name, office address(es), office phone number, office fax number, website, specialty, and certifications (e.g., ABOM diplomate). OMA will provide your email address for the sole purpose of serving as a unique identifier; your email address will NOT be publicly displayed and will NOT be used or shared in any other way.
