Dr. Berry is an experienced clinician with a broad range of clinical experience. He has been an actively practicing physician for over 32 years. His experience includes broad spectrum family practice including both clinic, hospital and emergency work.
Dr. Berry has specialized his practice over the past eight years to deal clinically with patients treating overweight/obesity and the medical issues associated with this disease. He has extensive experience speaking locally, regionally and nationally, and draws on and shares his clinical experience with his audience. Dr. Berry has been a state senator in North Dakota and is also very familiar with the political aspects of public health policy. He is board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine. His practice includes treating all age groups including children and senior citizens.
Dr. Berry treats patients with a wide range of medical complexities including, but not limited to, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, post cancer treatment, as well as post bariatric surgical procedures. He enjoys speaking to diverse interest groups, as well as medical professionals. He enjoys interacting with his audience including Q and A sessions following presentations.
